Ada Mae Marler Moore

Ada Mae Moore, 77, of Pitkin, passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 at DeRidder Retirement and Rehab Center.  Visitation will be Thursday, August 28, from 9am until time of service at the Pentecostal Church of Mittie.  Funeral service will be Thursday, August 28, at 2pm at the church.  Interment will be at Simmons Cemetery in Mittie.  Rev. J.R. Dowdon and Rev. Jeremy Spikes will officiate. Ada is survived by her husband, Barney Moore of Pitkin; three sons, James Lee Marler & Karen of Pitkin, Darrell W. Marler of DeQuincy, and Robert Keith Marler & Norma of DeRidder; five grandchildren, Jessie Marler, Kelly Marler, Christina Mae Marler & Peter Kaltsas, Cody Marler & April, and Terrence; and four great-grandchildren, Ayden, Brayden, Nolen, and Jude.
