Anita Lavelle Bailey

Anita Lavelle Bailey, 78, of DeRidder, LA, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at her home.  Visitation will be Thursday, November 5 from 1-2pm at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Thursday, November 5 at 2pm at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Hopewell Cemetery.  Rev. John Andrews and Rev. Paul Moore will officiate. Anita is survived by her husband of 62 years, Wayne Bailey of DeRidder, LA; two daughters, Felicia Bernal & Juan of Terrell, TX and Candace Taylor & Bobby of Pitkin, LA; one son, Harlan Bailey & Regina of DeRidder, LA; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters; five brothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Lavelle was a member of Beckwith Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude “Bill” & Mollie Burnitt; four brothers; and one great-grandson.
