Athela “Letha” Mae Freeman

Athela “Letha” Mae Freeman, 62, of DeQuincy, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 at St. Pat’s Hospital in Lake Charles.  Visitation will be Friday, July 31, from 6-9pm at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Saturday, August 1, at 11am at Chaddick’s.  Interment will be at Almadane Cemetery.  Rev. John Crosley will officiate. Letha is survived by her spouse, Hershel LaDay of DeQuincy; five stepchildren, Lethel LaDay of Ville Platte, Vicki LaDay of Lake Charles, Gregory LaDay of Lake Charles, Sheila LaDay of DeQuincy, and Corrine LaDay of Lake Charles; sister, Leola Soileau & Kip of Sulphur; two brothers, Leon Freeman, Jr. & Patricia of DeRidder, and William Freeman & Sandra Ben of DeRidder; special nephew, Darrel Dwayne Freeman & Valarie of Tupelo, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon & Viola Freeman; two sisters, Shirley Freeman, and Mary Sue Andrews; and brother, Benjamin Freeman. Condolences can be made at chaddickfuneralhome.com.
