Barbara Ellen Wirsing

Barbara Ellen Wirsing, 63, of DeRidder, LA passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023.  Visitation will be Saturday, December 23 from 10am-12pm at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Saturday, December 23 at 12pm at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Beauregard Cemetery.  Rev. Jonathan Lunsford will officiate. Barbara is survived by her two sons, Daniel Wirsing & Jennifer of DeRidder, LA and Matthew Wirsing & Angel of DeRidder, LA; two grandchildren, Cameron Wirsing and Jace Wirsing; one sister, Anita Carlisle of Anacoco, LA; two brothers, Orvilson “Obie” Simmons of Denham Springs, LA and Rodger Simmons & Barbara of Zwolle, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Wirsing; parents, Olawayne & Melba Simmons; sister, Francis Robinson; two brothers, Leslie Simmons and Maurice “Goober” Simmons; and granddaughter, Bella Wirsing.
