Benjamin Davis

Benjamin Davis, 80, of DeRidder, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017 in DeRidder.  Visitation will be Monday, June 12, from 5-8pm at St. Mary Church of God in Christ.  Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 13, at 11am at St. Mary Church of God in Christ located at 501 East 6th Street in DeRidder.  Interment will be at Spikes Cemetery in Bancroft.  Rev. Wilford Williams and Pastor Dallas Thomas will officiate. Benjamin is survived by his wife, Azzie Lee Davis of DeRidder; three daughters, Wanda F. Davis of DeRidder, Janice Davis-Canty of Duluth, GA, and Sandra E. Davis of Upland, CA; two sons, Benjamin Davis, Jr. of DeRidder, and Michael E. Davis of Stockton, CA; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one daughter-in-law; and two sisters, Burnette Lewis of DeRidder, and Alice Fay Cummins of Sacramento, CA.
