Bettie Jane Martin

Bettie Jane Martin, 80, of DeRidder, LA passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021.  Visitation will be Saturday, September 25 from 6-8pm and Sunday, September 26 from 1pm until time of service at Friendship Baptist Church.  Funeral service will be Sunday, September 26 at 2pm at Friendship Baptist Church.  Interment will be at Spring Creek Cemetery.  Rev. Johnny Johnson and Rev. Don Barrett will officiate. Bettie is survived by her daughter, Denise Cole & Bradley of DeRidder, LA; granddaughter, Leah Cronan & Cody of DeRidder, LA; two great-grandchildren, Milanna and Bryce; and four sisters, Lillie Fowler, Mary Watson, Linda Hogan, and Catherine Atkinson. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Edward Martin; parents, Clinton & Lillie Mae Bailey; seven sisters, Annie Bailey, Othea Lacy, Rosie Ladner, Versie Montooth, Elsie Bailey, Bernice Brown, and Verna Moore; and five brothers, Leroy Bailey, Alfred “Bub” Bailey, Cleve Bailey, Robert Bailey, and Collin Bailey.
