Cary Emory Wallace, Sr.

Cary Emory Wallce, Sr. left this life on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.  Visitation will be Friday, March 3 from 10am-12pm at New Life Baptist Church.  Funeral service will be Friday, March 3 at 12pm at New Life Baptist Church.  Interment will be at Cooper Cemetery.  Rev. Lynn Clayton will officiate. Cary is survived by his daughter, Laura Entrekin & Charles of Livingston, LA; son, Cary Emory Wallace, Jr. of DeRidder, LA; two granddaughters, Erin Quamme of Baton Rouge, LA and Micayla Entrekin of Houston, TX; two brothers, David Wallace & Suzanne of DeRidder, LA and Mark Wallace & Renee of DeRidder, LA; and five nieces and nephews, Mary Jeane Wallace of DeRidder, LA, Sarah Wallace of Creede, CO, Max Wallace of New Orleans, LA, Matthew Wallace & Hannah of DeRidder, LA and Meagan Thom & Brennan of Iowa, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Emory & Mary Wallace; and wife, Susie Wallace. Cary, his parents and siblings moved to Louisiana in 1958.  He graduated from DeRidder High School in 1968.  He attended Louisiana College in Pineville where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business.  He worked in the insurance business his entire work life.  He was a hard worker who provided support and succor for his family. Cary loved to hunt and fish.  Some of the best memories made with the family were in the marsh, fields, and timbers. Condolences can be made at chaddickfuneralhome.com
