Charles Lee Kennedy, Sr.

Charles Lee Kennedy, Sr., 70, of Leesville, passed away Monday, May 5, 2014 at Beauregard Memorial Hospital.  Visitation will be Wednesday, May 7, from 1-9pm and Thursday, May 8, from 9am until time of service at Oak Grove Methodist Church in Burr Ferry, La.  Funeral service will be Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 12pm at the church.  Interment will be at Miller Cemetery in Cottonwood.  Rev. George Jeane and Rev. Melvin Smith will officiate. Charles is survived by his daughter, Nicole Rochelle Kennedy of Cottonwood; two sons, Charles L. “Chuck” Kennedy & Melissa of Evans, and Hardie Allen Kennedy & Tersa of Indian Mound, TN; six grandchildren, Shelby, Pegyn, Matthew, Grady, Hannah, and Rodee Jo’Nell; one great-grandson, Kaden; four sisters, Wanda Jordan & John of Hemphill, TX, Charlene Jeane & George of Evans, Abby Mitcham of Burr Ferry, and Donnis Shaw & Max of Burr Ferry; and one brother, Arnold Kennedy of Burr Ferry.
