Clara Mae Singleton

Clara Mae Singleton, 80, of Sorrento, La, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Ascension Oaks Nursing Home in Gonzales, La.  Funeral service will be Friday, November 7, 2014 at 12pm at Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church.  Interment will be at Hawthorne Cemetery.  Rev. David Iles will officiate. Clara is survived by one daughter, Glenda Sowell Hadley of North Las Vegas, Nevada; two sons, Nathaniel Sowell & Elouise of Sorrento, and Charles Sowell & Linda of Galvez; sixteen grandchildren, twenty- seven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Burnetta Lewis of DeRidder, and Alice Faye Cummings of Sacramento, CA; one brother, Benjamin Davis & Azzie Lee of DeRidder; two uncles, Manuel Ford of Hawthorne, and James Ford of Lynwood, California; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
