Connie Sue Archer Smith

Connie Sue Archer Smith, 55, passed away Friday, November 4, 2016 in Baton Rouge.  Visitation will be Monday, November 7, from 5-8pm at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Tuesday, November 8, at 11am at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Rev. George Lee Glass and Rev. James Glass will officiate. Connie is survived by her husband, Gary C. Smith of DeRidder; her mother, Nona Faye McFatter & Bruce N. of DeRidder; one son, Matthew D. McCullough of DeRidder; one daughter, Candis Nicole Collins & Billy Ray of DeRidder; two grandchildren, Kayla Lynn Collins and Anthony Cole Collins; one sister, Judy Hulett & Sidney of Sulphur; one brother, Randy Archer of DeRidder; four nephews; three nieces; and her best friend, Linetta Grubbs of DeRidder. She is p Connie enjoyed life to the fullest and loved spending time with her family and friends.  She worked at Cubic at Fort Polk and was co-founder of the Jolly Ole Santa Haulers (J.O.S.H.).  She was the most kind and loving person you could ever meet and made a huge, positive impact on many people’s lives.  Connie’s motto was “Do something that scares you every day.” Condolences can be made at chaddickfuneralhome.com
