Dixie Lena King

Dixie Lena King, 81, of Merryville, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at her home.  Visitation will be Monday, April 18, from 5:30-9pm at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 19, at 3pm at Chaddick’s.  Interment will be at Meadows Cemetery.  Rev. Ben Derrick will officiate. Dixie is survived by her daughter, Debra Griffin of DeRidder; son, Larry King of Merryville; three grandchildren, Celeste Rhodes & Trampas of Leesville, Chloe Grace King of Merryville, and David Griffin & Crystal of Rosepine; three great-grandchildren, Sarah, Abby, and Triston; and two great-great-granddaughters. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn; and her husband, Gordon King, Jr. Condolences can be made at chaddickfuneralhome.com.
