Edward David Diaz

Edward David Diaz, 47, of DeRidder, passed away Monday, September 18, 2017 in Sulphur.  Visitation will be Wednesday, September 20, from 5-10pm at Hopewell Baptist Church.  The funeral service will be Thursday, September 21, at 2pm at Hopewell.  Interment will be at Hopewell Cemetery.  Rev. Tim Lee will officiate. Edward is survived by his wife, Samantha Diaz of DeRidder; one son, Alexander Diaz & Samantha of Nederland, TX, two daughters, Kirsten Diaz and Madison Diaz, both of Nederland, TX; two grandchildren, Kasyn and Korvyn Diaz of Nederland; mother, Margaret Lichtwardt of Port Arthur, TX; three sisters, Sonia Marshall Diaz of Port Arthur, Zulema Diaz of Nederland, and Vanessa Carerra & Enrique of Nederland; three brothers, Richard Diaz of Houston, Garrett Boozer of Port Arthur, and Ulrich Lichtwardt of New Mexico; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
