Ernest Sidney Cardy was a graduate of Pickering High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Ernest worked as an accountant in the Civil Service. He spent years coaching little league ball teams, always treasuring the time he spent on the field with his children, nieces, and nephews, along with other family members. He was a bowling league member, he bowled a perfect 300 game, he was a Dallas Cowboy fan, and an avid hunter and fisherman. Ernest was his family’s strength, the one who kept everyone close and listened to their hearts with his own heart. He was a trusted guide and made sure his family found time to laugh and have fun along the way. His family and friends are left to cherish his memory with love and respect, each knowing they are a better person for knowing him.
