Ferrel Thomas Barrington

Ferrel Thomas Barrington, 87, of Pitkin, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 in Rosepine.  Visitation will be Sunday, June 7, from 3-9pm and Monday, June 8, from 9am until time of service at Smyrna Baptist Church.  Funeral service will be Monday, June 8, at 2pm at the church.  Interment will be at Talbert-Pierson Cemetery in Pitkin.  Rev. Tim Lee will officiate. Ferrel is survived by his stepson, Horace Fontenot & Mary of Hemphill, TX; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd & Lettie Barrington; brother, Kelly Barrington; sister, Tamara Armstrong; stepson, Larry Fontenot; and granddaughter, Melony Fontenot.
