Hardie Washington “Buddy” Midkiff, Jr., 90, of Denham Springs, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 in Baton Rouge.  Visitation will be Tuesday, June 12, from 10am-12pm at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 12 at 12pm at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Miller Cemetery.  Rev. Leo Miller will officiate. Buddy is survived by his wife of 64 years, Billie Midkiff of Denham Springs, LA; four daughters, Melissa Miracle & Denzil of Denham Springs, LA, Jennifer Wager of Lucedale, MS, Sarah Collins & John of Baton Rouge, LA, and Theresa Midkiff of Gulfport, MS; one son, Hardie W. Midkiff III & Melissa of Denham Springs, LA; sixteen grandchildren, Tamara Basso, Ryan Miracle, Adrian Miracle, Amanda Maricle, Kegan Wager, Brianna Wager, Kara Wager, James Midkiff, Jeremy & Terry Matt, Jordan Matt, Samantha Matt, Michael Toney, Jr., Alexander Midkiff, Thomas Midkiff, Jonathan Midkiff, and Sophia Midkiff; thirteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty Chaddick & Dale of Sulphur, LA; and one brother, Bobby Midkiff & Nancy of Baton Rouge, LA. Hardie is preceded in death by his parents, Essie & Hardie Midkiff, Sr.; his two sisters, Margie Midkiff and Peggy Kennedy; son-in-law, Randy Wager, and granddaughter, Ari Wager.
