Helen Kay Mays, 72, of DeRidder, LA, passed away Friday, May 15, 2020 in Lake Charles, LA. Memorial service will be Monday, May 18th from 1-6pm at Chaddick Funeral Home. Helen is survived by two daughters, Glea Newsome & Michael of Myrtle Beach, SC and Becky Lambert & Charlie of West Virginia; father of Glea’s children, Charles Newsome of West Virginia; three sons, Anthony Weathers & Katie of DeRidder, LA, Danny Mays & Tabitha of West Virginia and Ronnie Mays & Alicia of West Virginia; twenty-one grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carla Morckel & Dale of Texas and Jean Szymanski of Florida; one brother, John Mays & Tammy of Missouri; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
