Helen Lee Carthan, 56, of DeRidder, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 at her home.  Visitation will be Saturday, September 6, from 9am until time of service at Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church.  Funeral service will be Saturday, September 6, at 11am at the church.  Interment will be at Beauregard Cemetery.  Rev. Keith Stevenson will officiate. Helen is survived by her fiancé, Jessie James Howard of DeRidder; son, Dewantze Maurice Crockett & Joyce of Houston, TX; three step-daughters, Teana Colton of Mansfield, La, Tonya Colton of Leesville, and Jasmine Colton of Leesville; five grandchildren, Candice Allen of Houston, Patrick Allen of DeRidder, Michael Allen of Houston, Alexis Crockett of Houston, and Karizma Crockett of Houston; two great-grandchildren, Ivryiana Malbrough and Shawnston Allen; three sisters, Lillie Chisolm of San Antonio, TX, Gloria Miller of Houston, and Isadora Gill of DeRidder; and three brothers, Aaron Crockett, Sr. of DeRidder, Albert Crockett, Jr. of Houston, and Herman Stanley Crockett & Daonoi of San Antonio.
