James Allen Fritze, Jr.

James Allen Fritze, Jr., 71, of DeRidder, LA passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025.  Visitation will be Saturday, March 15 from 1-4pm at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Celebration of Life will be Thursday, March 20 at 12:30pm at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.  Rev. Ralph Sikes will officiate. He was a police officer for the City of DeRidder for over 20 years and served in the United States Army for over six years. James is survived by his six children, Michael Fritze of Newark, NJ, James Daniel Fritze of Sugartown, LA, Andrew Wayne Frady of Shreveport, LA, Crystle Mae Powell & Melvin of Longville, LA, Jesse James Hipes of Elko, NV, and Dorothy Monay Reiter & Simon of Hornbeck, LA; seventeen grandchildren; ex-wife/caregiver, Doris Fritze of DeRidder, LA; mother, Audrey Cummings of Manchester, NJ; brothers, John “Johnny” Russell Fritze & Deborah of Manchester, NJ and Terry Allen Fritze; sisters, Jennifer Marie Coburn and Melody Lynn Fritze; nephew, Frank Fritze & Jaime of Flanders, NJ; and two nieces, Tia-Lyn Ghione & John of North Arlington, NJ and Kimberly Testa & Alan of Davie, FL.
