James Harry Bomboy, Sr.

James Harry Bomboy, Sr., 86, of DeRidder, LA, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019 at his home.  Visitation will be Friday, September 27 from 5-8pm at First Baptist Church.  Funeral service will be Saturday, September 28 at 11am at First Baptist Church.  Interment will be at Cooper Cemetery.  Rev. George Lee Glass will officiate. James is survived by his two sons, James Harry “Jimbo” Bomboy, Jr. of Brewton, AL and Michael Lee Bomboy & Karen of DeRidder, LA; one daughter, Patsy Jean Bomboy of DeRidder, LA; nine grandchildren, Teddy Bomboy, Shane Bomboy, Korey Willett & Alex, Clay Bomboy, Brittany Shirley, Hunter Lewis & Kristen, Shannon Wingate & Carmen, Russell Wingate, and Stacey Wingate; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Bomboy; one daughter, Rita Bomboy; one son, Ted Bomboy; and two grandchildren, Brady Bomboy and Amanda Bomboy.
