James Harvey Mills, 75, of Mauriceville, TX passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021.  Visitation will be Friday, November 5 from 11am-1pm at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Graveside service will be Friday, November 5 at 2pm at Providence Cemetery. James is survived by his two daughters, Tracee Runnels & Lee of Mauriceville, TX and Jamie Fisk & Jeremiah Compton of Pilot Knob, MO; nine grandchildren, Kelli Mills & MJ of DeRidder, LA, Anthony Johnson & Nicole of Dry Creek, LA, Heather Runnels of Devers, TX, Raymond Runnels & Jami of Mauriceville, TX, Ryan Runnels & Emily of Lumberton, TX, Thomas Fisk of Pilot Knob, MO, Matthew Fisk of Pilot Knob, MO, Andrew Fisk of Pilot Knob, MO and Daniel Compton of Pilot Knob, MO; seventeen great-grandchildren; and one brother, Samuel “Nik” Mills of Mauriceville, TX. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ethel LaNell Mills; son, Dallas James Mills; his parents, Harvey & Clyde Mills; and two sisters, Kaye Mills Gill and Faye Mills Cantrell.
