Jeanne Chaddick

d. December 21, 2017

Jeanne Chaddick, 60, passed away December 21, 2017 in Lake Charles. Although Jeanne was intellectually and physically challenged from birth, she had a charismatic personality and was full of character.  Once she met someone, she never forgot them; and no one forgot her either.  She was a client of CARC for many years and a resident of Cherryhill Community Home in Lake Charles for the past nine years. She competed in Special Olympics for many years, excelling in bowling. She will be dearly missed by her CARC family.  Jeanne loved spending time with her family, especially the babies and children. Jeanne is survived by her parents, Edward Dale and Betty Chaddick of Sulphur; three sisters, Janet Cline and husband Tim of Surprise, Arizona; Debbie Bowers and husband Ronnie; and Diane Buck and husband Jerry all of Sulphur; one sister-in-law, Debra Chaddick, also of Sulphur; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Dale Chaddick. The family expresses heartfelt thanks to her sitter and to the compassionate and caring staff of CARC, Resthaven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Brighton Bridge Hospice. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Houston River Baptist Church with Bro. Lonnie Gothrup officiating.  Interment will follow at Prien Memorial Park Cemetery in Lake Charles under the direction of Chaddick Funeral Home. Visitation with family and friends will be Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Houston River Baptist Church, 110 W. Houston River  Road, Sulphur. Condolences can be made at chaddickfuneralhome.com
