Jerry Wayne Rumby

Jerry Wayne Rumby, 72, of DeQuincy, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Harbor Hospice in Lake Charles.  Visitation will be Thursday, February 5, from 5-9pm and Friday, February 6, from 9am until time of service at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Friday, February 6, at 1pm at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Old Cypress Cemetery in DeRidder.  Rev. George Lee Glass & Rev. James Glass will officiate. Jerry is survived by his daughter, Sheila Rumby Armond & Barry of Kenner, LA; son, Greg Rumby & Mary of Huntington, TX; five grandchildren, Grady Johnson of Kenner, Gage Johnson of DeRidder, Stuart Rumby of Leesville, Dustin Rumby of Leesville, and Kaycee Rumby of Huntington; one great-grandson, Aaron Rumby of Leesville; three sisters, Margie Radney of DeRidder, Bonnie Salyer of Miramar Beach, FL, and Doris Hartman of Silsbee, TX; brother, William Rumby of Orange, TX; special friend, Tressie Lisotta of Singer; “Fur Baby”, Miko; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Lula Rumby; four sisters, Bobbie Rumby, Helen Davis, Wilma White, and Gloria Jean Connors; and a grandson, Samuel Rumby.
