Joe B. Holmes, 90, of DeRidder, LA passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024.  Visitation will be Tuesday, November 26 from 9-11am at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.  Funeral service will be at 11am at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.  Interment will be at Community Cemetery.  Rev. Ronald Jarden will officiate. Joe is survived by four daughters, Lynn Magee of DeRidder, LA, JoAnn Washington & Arthur of DeRidder, LA, Jennifer Smith & Floyd of Lawton, OK and Donna Williams & Marvin of DeRidder, LA; five sons, Edgar Holmes, Jr. & Angela of DeRidder, LA, Larry Holmes & Dorothy of Dallas, TX, Zachary Holmes of Montgomery, AL, Lee Holmes of DeRidder, LA and Jeffery Holmes of DeRidder, LA; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
