John Edwin Davis, Jr., 93, of Rosepine, LA, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019 at his home.  Visitation will be Sunday, September 15 from 5-8pm at Church of Christ.  Funeral service will be Monday, September 16 at 10am at Church of Christ.  Interment will be at Rosepine Cemetery.  Rev. Jay Alexander will officiate. John is survived by his daughter, Sherry Reeves & David “Buddy” of Rosepine, LA; one son, Don Edwin Davis & Barbara of Rosepine, LA; seven grandchildren, Alan Reeves & Debbie of Kinder, LA, Brett Reeves & Stephanie of Hendersonville, TN, Bart Reeves of Gallatin, TN, Nichole VanKirk & Brad of Clarksville, TN, Brandi Ogle & John of Rosepine, LA, Brian Davis of Rosepine, LA and Don Bradley Davis of Rosepine, LA; thirteen grandchildren, one who is a veteran like his paw-paw; two great-great-grandsons; and one nephew, Eddie Mack Davis & Priscilla of DeRidder, LA.
