John “Paw Paw” Howard Stiefer

John “Paw Paw” Howard Stiefer, 76, of Anacoco, LA, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020 in Alexandria, LA.  Visitation will be Tuesday, May 26 from 5-8pm at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 27 at 12pm at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Beauregard Cemetery.  Bro. Michael Schneider will officiate. John is survived by his loving wife, Rita Stiefer, whom gave him love, joy, companionship, and happiness; six daughters, Sandra Doyle & John of Anacoco, LA, Johnnie Schultz & Matt Lamm of Reading, PA, Mary Deason & John of DeRidder, LA, Carlene Harvey & Bobby of Anacoco, LA, Linda Schneider & Michael “Junior” of Anacoco, LA, and Jeannie Mann & Alan of Newalla, OK; two sons, Carl Doyle & Stephanie of Laporte, IN and John Doyle & Sandra of Anacoco, LA; twenty-four grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald & Myrl Stiefer; wife, Violet Ruth Stiefer; brother, Gerald Stiefer; and daughter, Jeaninne Marie. Condolences can be made at chaddickfuneralhome.com
