Joy Raye Maddox, 78, of DeRidder, LA, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 in Leesville, LA.  Visitation will be Saturday, December 15 from 11am until time of service at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Saturday, December 15 at 2pm at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Whitaker Cemetery.  Rev. George Lee Glass will officiate. Joy is survived by her daughter, Gayla McKinney & Michael of Anacoco, LA; four grandchildren, Todd Ruiz & Maggie Townsend of DeRidder, LA, Brittanee Roberson & Roman of Shelley, ID, Samantha Maddox of DeRidder, LA, and Dylan Thomas of Leesville, LA; four great-granddaughters, Arianna Roberson, Brooklyn Ruiz, Cambria Roberson, and Emilia Roberson; one great-grandson, Jase Ruiz; and one sister, Nona Faye McFatter of Sulphur, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lindsey & Onie Coker; her husband, Charles Franklin “Sammie” Maddox; and her daughter, Brenda Thomas. Condolences can be made at chaddickfuneralhome.com
