Marice Louis Simmons

Marice Louis Simmons, 51, of DeRidder, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014 at his home.  Visitation will be Tuesday, June 17, from 1-8pm and Wednesday, June 18, from 9am until time of service at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 18 at 2pm at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Whitaker Cemetery.  Rev. Frank Hensley will officiate. Marice is survived by his wife, Dorli Simmons of DeRidder; three daughters, LaTissa Miller of Atlanta, GA, Lacey Simmons of Oberlin, and Destiney Simmons of Mittie; one son, Glendon Simmons of DeRidder; three grandchildren, Devanté Simmons, NeVaeh Simmons, and Benjamin McCartney; two sisters, Anita Carlisle of Simpson, and Barbara Wirsing of DeRidder; three brothers, James Simmons of Denham Springs, Obie Simmons of Denham Springs, and Rodger Simmons of DeRidder; and a host of nieces, nephews, family & friends.
