Martha Lenora Whittington

Martha Lenora Whittington, 87, of Longville, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at her home.  Visitation will be Thursday, August 13, from 5-9pm at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Friday, August 14, at 11am at Memorial Baptist Church.  Interment will follow at Barrentine Cemetery.  Rev. Jimmy Clark will officiate. Martha is survived by three daughters, Gloria Bower of Longville, Anna Whittington of Longville, and Pat Ozan & James of Longville; six grandchildren, Edward Jones, Linda Duval, Natalie Siegfried, Jackie Porterfield, Reese Ozan, and Tiffany Gallagher; twenty-one great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Landry “Red” Burnett of Ragley; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, John D. Whittington; grandson, Johnny W. Brown; and six siblings. Condolences can be made at chaddickfuneralhome.com.
