Nellie Pearl Cooley

Nellie Pearl Cooley, 88, of DeRidder, La, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Beauregard Memorial Hospital.  Visitation will be Tuesday, January 14, from 5-9pm at Friendship Baptist Church in DeRidder.  Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 15, at 2pm at the church.  Rev. Frank Ottt and Rev. Joe Pool will officiate. Nellie is survived by four daughters, Lorraine Loftin & Bobby of Sherman, Tx, Linda Caraway & C.W. of DeRidder, Joan Batchelor & Dan of Lake Charles, and Annette Bailey & David of Haughton, La; two sons, O.J. Cooley, Jr. & Jolene of DeRidder, and Johnny G. Cooley & Carla of Sulphur; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Officer Jack Cooley, Sr.; parents, John Harold Akin & Ida Aderine Johnson; brother, John W.
