Norman Monroe James

Norman Monroe James, 93, of DeRidder, LA, went to meet his Lord on March 2, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.  Visitation will be Monday, March 4 from 12pm until time of service at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Monday, March 4 at 2pm at Chaddick Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Beauregard Cemetery.  Rev. Gary Dardar will officiate. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 68 years, Erva Mae James; five daughters, Beverly Martin Miller & Larry of Dallas, TX, Karen Gray & Bill of DeRidder, LA, Shelia Davis of DeRidder, LA,  Bridget Lutz & Cal of DeRidder, LA, and Tina Jacobs & Rob of Missoula, MT; two sons, Stan James & Rocky of Rosepine, LA, and Brad James of DeRidder, LA; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren. He was a devoted Husband, Daddy, and Paw Paw.  He cherished time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  He had two priorities in his life - God and family.  He enjoyed his garden and always loved sharing a bag of tomatoes or cucumbers with family and friends.  He leaves behind a legacy of love and faith in Jesus Christ and will be sadly missed and forever loved by his family.
