Pearlie Marie Brown

Pearlie Marie Brown, 78, of DeRidder, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017 at her home.  Visitation will be Friday, January 13, from 9am until time of service at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.  Funeral service will be Friday, January 13, at 11am at St. Joseph’s.  Interment will be at Thornwell Cemetery.  Rev. Jude Brunnert will officiate. Pearlie is survived by one daughter, Monica Lynnette Brown of DeRidder; two sons, Charles Brown of Washington, D.C., and Anthony Brown & Elizabeth of Greenbelt, MD; ten grandchildren, Caywana, Derrick, Theo, Sheldon, Alleah, Krystal, Keenan, Alexis, Karon, and Allayah; four great-grandchildren, Shaneya, Morgan, Corlaysia, and Kamron; five sisters, Mary Handy of Welsh, Elvenia Dugas of Lacassine, Mildred Achane of Welsh, Rose Mae Sonnier of Lake Charles, and Melissa Achane of Welsh; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, WIllie & Libby Achane; and five siblings, Girle, Clifton, Clifford, David, and Willie Achane. Condolences can be made at chaddickfuneralhome.com.
