Priscilla Lane Young

Priscilla Lane Young, 78, of Mittie, LA passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025.  Visitation will be Saturday, January 11 from 9am-3pm at Cherry Grove Baptist Church.  Funeral service will be Saturday, January 11 at 3pm at Cherry Grove Baptist Church.  Interment will be at Simmons Cemetery.  Bro. Ron Butler and Bro. Andrew Johnson will officiate. Priscilla is survived by her two daughters, Janet Duplechan & Joe of Mittie, LA and Julia Young Willis of Mena, AR; four grandchildren, Constance Mahaffey of Mittie, LA, Jake Seal & Shanna of Pitkin, LA, Brittney Rexrode & Brent of Mena, AR and Joseph Gonzales & Tuesday of Mittie, LA; thirteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Jeanette Daniels of Houston, TX; and three brothers, Dellano “Shorty” Simmons & Donita of Vidor, TX, Herman Simmons & Kay of Gray, TN and Craig Simmons & Shelia of DeRidder, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Tracey & Gennive Simmons; husband, Ronnie Young; granddaughter, Jessica Gonzales; and special friend, Leo Pate.
