Regina Slaydon West, 55, of DeRidder, LA passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023.  Visitation will be Thursday, February 16 from 5-9pm at Christway Church.  Funeral service will be Friday, February 17 at 10am at Christway Church.  Interment will be at Newlin Cemetery.  Rev. Larry Dickens and Rev. Bubba White will officiate. Regina is survived by her four children, Harold West of Rosepine, LA, Rosie Miller of Michigan, Brandy Miller of Rosepine, LA and Charles West of Michigan; seven grandchildren, Gabriel, Destini, Nixon, Austin Rose, Bubbie Orr, Charlie, and Hannah; one great-grandson, MJ; six sisters, LeAnn Simmons & Buddy of Rosepine, LA, Grace Brooks & Bruce of Slagle, LA, Mary Dowden of DeRidder, LA, Carla Thompson & James of DeRidder, LA, Martha Slaydon of DeRidder, LA and Vickie Horsley & Merle of Rosepine, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hartson & Joyce Slaydon; brother, Charles Slaydon; and four grandchildren, Dianna, Patrick, Chloe, and Precious Rose.
