Rev. Johnny Jacob Sanders, 96, of DeRidder, LA, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025. Visitation will be Saturday, February 15 from 1pm until the time of service at Six-Mile Pentecostal Church. Memorial service will be Saturday, February 15 at 2pm at Six-Mile Pentecostal Church. Rev. Louis Robertson, Rev. Zale Lewis, and Rev. William Smith will officiate. Johnny is survived by his wife of 76 years, Winnie Sanders; son, Gary Sanders & Diane of Mena, AR; daughter, Linda Marcantel & Butch of Lafayette, LA; grandchildren, Steve Sanders of Bryant, AR, Angie Collins & Greg of Merryville, LA, Randall Sanders & Alicia of Sugartown, LA, and Jessica Hughes & Billy of Lafayette, LA; 7 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; three sisters, Bonnie Vee Kolb of Goldwaithe, TX, Shirley Vastine of Fort Worth, TX, and Lavonne Wyatt of DeRidder, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard & Versie Mae Sanders; son, Tommy Sanders; grandson, Brody Fletcher; brother, Buford Sanders; and five sisters, Joyce Orton, Ivy Keadle, Bobbie Chaffin, Bona Joy Perkins, and Jean Bruce.
