Robert Ellis Paul

Robert Ellis Paul, 65, of DeRidder, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015 at his home.  Visitation will be Monday, July 20, from 4-8pm and Tuesday, July 21, from 9am until time of service at Grace Church.  Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 21, at 4pm at Grace Church.  Interment will be at Old Cypress Cemetery.  Rev. George Lee Glass and Rev. Jimmy Glass will officiate. Robert Paul won his battle on July 17, 2015.  He was the former owner of Paul’s Restaurant and Paul’s Discount Tire.  He was a well known and loved member of the community and was cherished by many.  Robert was also an avid saltwater fisherman and an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Danita “Nita” Paul of DeRidder; daughter, Rebecca Paul Major & Zachary of DeRidder; son, Jeremy Jones & Holli of DeRidder; four grandchildren, Bayli Jones, Jantz Jones, Christian Major and Emma Major; and mother-in-law, Rachel Berel of Rosepine.
