Roberta Jacqueline Ciccarelli

Roberta Jacqueline Ciccarelli, 57, of Dry Creek, LA, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 at her home.  Celebration of life will be Thursday, October 25 from 4-10pm at Dry Creek Bible Church.  Memorial service will be Friday, October 26 at 10am at Dry Creek Bible Church.  Rev. Sam Burchard will officiate. Roberta is survived by her husband, John Ciccarelli of Dry Creek, LA; four daughters, Jessica Ciccarelli of Berea, KY, Jacqueline Ciccarelli Lambert of Richmond, KY, Sarah Ciccarelli of Dry Creek, LA, and Desiree Ciccarelli of Baton Rouge, LA; one son, John Wayne Joseph Ciccarelli of Berea, KY; one grandson, Aidden Joseph of Dry Creek, LA; and two sisters, Susan Durk of Forsyth, MO and Cathy Brundage of Drighton, MO. Roberta was born September 4, 1961 to Robert & Barbara Gardner Ashby in Denver, CO.  She passed away October 20, 2018 in Dry Creek, LA.  She served in the Air Force and also explored a number of careers including cook, waitress, and substitute teacher.  She moved to Dry Creek, LA with her husband and entered the most rewarding career she ever wanted as a Mom of five. Roberta spent her life writing, painting, and creating.  She loved crafting things to help or show love to friends and family.  She is published in a number of newspapers and publications on issues of social justice and moral concern.  She was a loving wife and mother and a fierce, compassionate spirit who would help anyone.
