Ronald Keith Nelson, Jr., 64, of Sugartown, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at his home.  Visitation will be Thursday, January 19, from 5-9pm and Friday, January 20, from 12-2pm at First United Pentecostal Church in DeRidder.  Funeral service will be Friday, January 20, at 2pm at First United Pentecostal Church.  Interment will be at Beauregard Cemetery.  Rev. Lewis will officiate. Ronald is survived by his wife, Vickie Nelson of Sugartown; two daughters, Jamie Smith of Sugartown and Vanessa Truby & Don of DeRidder; two sons, Jason Nelson & Lillian of Lake Charles and Stephen Tipton & Kyla of Pensacola, FL; ten grandchildren, Mykale & Andrew, McKenzie, Tara, Matthew, Madison, Victoria, Abagail, Lylie, Braelyn, and Kailyn; one great-granddaughter, Hazel; parents, Ronald, Sr. & Marjorie Nelson of DeRidder; two brothers, Scott Nelson of DeRidder and Roger Nelson & Mary of Parker, CO; mother-in-law, Patsy Stanford of DeRidder; and a host of nieces and nephews.
