Roy Dwain Whiddon

Roy Dwain Whiddon, 52, of Merryville, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 in Alexandria.  Visitation will be Wednesday, May 11, from 5-8pm at Calvary Baptist Church in Merryville.  Funeral service will be Thursday, May 12, at 10am at Calvary Baptist Church.  Interment will be at Cannon Cemetery.  Rev. Jim Miers will officiate. Roy is survived by his wife, Wanda Whiddon of Evans; sister, Melissa Blackmon & David of Merryville; brother, John R. Whiddon, Jr. & Joyce of Merryville; mother & stepfather, Lillian Watson & Melbourne of Merryville; three nephews, Chasten Blackmon & Kaitlyn of Merryville, Caleb Blackmon of Merryville, and Carter Blackmon of Merryville; one great-niece, Paisyn Blackmon; one great-nephew, Sawyer Blackmon; and a host of family and friends.
