Thomas “Tommy” Martin Johnson, Iii

Thomas “Tommy” Johnson, III, 51, of Grant, La, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016 at his home.  He was born April 18, 1964 in DeRidder to Thomas “Tinker” & Sharon “Sue” Johnson.  He married and is survived by his wife Regina “Jena” Nugent Johnson.  They were married June 16, 1989. He is also survived by his mother, Sue Johnson; one son, Greg Nugent of DeRidder; two daughters, Amber Gentry & Keith of Grant, and Emily Johnson of Grant; two grandsons, Wyatt & Elijah Gentry; one granddaughter, Ryley Sue Nugent; two brothers, David Johnson of DeRidder, and Jason Johnson of Grant, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Tommy is preceded in death by his father, Tinker Johnson; and one granddaughter, Alyssa Nugent. Tommy was a longtime resident of Grant, graduating in 1982 from Fairview High School.  He loved his family and friends and enjoyed riding down to the creek.  His life was his family and anything that included them. Visitation will be Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 2pm until time of service at Palestine Baptist Church.  Funeral service will be Saturday, February 6, at 6:30pm at Palestine Baptist Church.  Rev.
