Van Lynn Overman

Van Lynn Overman, 64, of Navasota, TX, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014  at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston.  Visitation will be Monday, June 30, from 6-8pm at Chaddick Funeral Home, and Tuesday, July 1, from 9am-1pm at Chaddick Funeral Home and from 2-4pm at Hopewell Baptist Church.  Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 1, at 4pm at Hopewell Baptist Church.  Interment will be at Hopewell Cemetery.  Rev. George Gau will officiate. Van is survived by his daughter, Wendy Cooley & Jason of Vidor, TX; three sons, Mitch Jones & Sue of Beaumont, TX, Terry Jones of Houston, TX, and Greg Overman of Nashville, TN; eight grandchildren, Shaunda Wilson, Brandon Cooper, Brittany Cooley, Cory Jones, Ryan Jones, Mia Jones, Grace Overman, and Chloe Overman; six great-grandchildren, Draiden, Peyton, Jacob, Gabryle, Brenda, and RéLynn; and one sister, Carol Hudman & Carl of Lumberton, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
