William Edward Pottmeyer, III, 78, of Pitkin, LA passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 in DeRidder, LA.  Visitation will be Friday, August 27 from 5-9pm at Gravel Hill Baptist Church.  Funeral service will be Saturday, August 28 at 11am at Gravel Hill Baptist Church.  Interment will be at Gravel Hill Cemetery.  Rev. Johnny Elliott, Rev. Arlen Smith, and Rev. Bruce Butts will officiate. William is survived by his wife, Georgia M. Pottmeyer of Pitkin, LA; one daughter, Rhonda Marshall of Pitkin, LA; three sons, Tony Pottmeyer & Sherry of Dry Creek, LA, Chad Pottmeyer & Raquel of Pitkin, LA and Richard Carman & Lanita of Greenville, MS; eight grandchildren, Christopher Marshall & Torie, Candace McCollough, Courtney Olivier & Patrick, Colten Nolen, Emily Pottmeyer, Jenna Pottmeyer, Rebecca Loftin & Christopher and Dedra Dorris & John; twelve great-grandchildren; and one brother, Thomas O’Hara & Karen of Lawrence, PA.
